Did you know that Scrap Plezier has a monthly card sketch with a prize? Very fun! You can enter here. (If you are not familiar with Dutch you may want to use the Google Website Translator Gadget on the right sidebar.) This is my take on the sketch.
I love the masculine feel to this paper and so I didn’t want to dress this up with too much girly bling or flowers. I chose to do the pennants because they seemed fun.
I slightly curled the tips of the pennants upwards to make them stand out and give the card some dimension.
I think the twine added a very masculine, organic, natural feel. I am really loving layering different sizes of pennants. I think it’s a very whimsical, playful, fun look.
Ok, so I added some pearls. The sketch called for three small round somethings and this is what I had in my package from Scrap Plezier.
I think it will pass the “man-friendly card inspection” from my husband =)
Don’t forget to check out the sketch and enter your card for a chance to win a prize! Enter here. We can’t wait to see what you make!
